April 13 is not a common day is the birthday of Cosmopolitan, the Cervantes of America: Juan Maria Montalvo Fiallos, master of letters, dignity, honor and justice, in whose memory this date is declared the Day Master Clasico Ecuadorian declaration made on 29 May 1920 by the then President of the Republic of Ecuador, Alfredo Baquerizo.
